One in a Million

I had fun creating this adorable card that can be used for St.Patrick's day or for any other occasion you need to bring a smile to someone's face. With shades of greens, sparkly ribbon and a 3-d four leaf clover, you can cheer up someone, I'm sure.

I used the Craft-Dee BowZ to make a double gold loop bow and a single sparkly green loop bow. Attached them to each other and the card using Helmar's 450 glue. Looking more and more at the sparkly green bow and what do I see? A dog bone! What do you think? Am I loosing it or does it look like a dog bone to you?

Anyways I colored my image with copics, attached a complete cutout clover with a glue dot to give some dimension. Found shades of green pattern paper that I liked and created a cute little layout. Of course it wouldn't be complete without a bow or two made with the Craft-Dee BowZ!

Hope you enjoyed my card,

Amber

A quick masculine card for you...

Here's a rather quick card I put together (getting better, aren't I?).  I wanted to play with those Shimmer Sheetz that have been sitting on the shelf for many months.  So I ran a gold one thru the Cuttlebug using a Damask folder.  I then inked the raised areas using Staz-On ink (since the Shimmer SheetZ are non-porous).  The rest is pretty straightforward  with die cuts for the sentiment.  I added a lovely sheer black bow using my Craft-Dee BowZ and a tiny bit of bling on the knot.  That gold striped cardstock for the first layer is made by Marco Papers (another little item I've had for a while).

LOL!  if you look carefully, you'll see the image of my hand over the camera just above the bow on the left!  These gold Shimmer Sheetz are very reflective -- good thing I was dressed :).  Also the darkness along the left side of the card is the shadow effect.  This was a tough card to photographic -- guess I should go back to Editing 101.

Here's a shot angled the reverse way -- see how the shadow moved to the right?

Well, I'll be back next week with a cute little St. Patty's Day project.  In the meantime, stay tuned for Amber Hillman's post on Tuesday.  These Designers of mine are doing a spectacular job, wouldn't you say?

Thanks for stopping by.

A Little Vintage St. Patrick's Day

I wanted to share a card with you using a vintage image. I also just used some left over scrap papers and cardstock that were green. I used the pretty gold and green sheer ribbon. The green has a little sparkle to it too!

Here you can see some of the detail where I cut a pattern strip and added cream pearls to the centers.

Here you see my bow, using the two ribbons and a double loop, of course using the Craft-Dee Bowz tool! I added some little blooms to the center!

Here is another closeup of the bow and the detail!

I used a scallop punch and put a green border around the entire thing and also added more cream pearls. It's a pretty elegant look without much time! The Craft-Dee Bowz tool makes bows so easy, and you can just use your imagination and go wild!

I hope you like the card, and don't forget to come back to see what we have in store for you next!!!!

Thanks!
Patti

Luck of the Irish..............

Hi everyone! Brenda here with this week's creation. Our challenge was using more than one shade of green, gold or rainbow on our project and two colors in our ribbon.

I am very big into St. Patrick's Day, I just don't have a lot of rubber stamps and designer paper to reflect that. So, this is what I came up with.

This is your basic card size, layered with a green and white check K & Company designer paper.I rubber stamped small leaves from Magenta rubber stamps as a background in a different shade of green. My shamrock is made from a Clear Stamp heart, stamped three times in green and cut out to make the shamrock. I used pop dots to give dimension, then green bling was added. The tag was made using Spellbinder and the word lucky was stamped in gold pigment ink, the stamp is also from Clear Stamps. The bow is a double loop green and gold sheer ribbon, of course made from the Craft Dee Bows bow  maker tool.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoy this handmade card? Hugs

Top O' the Morning

Hi Everyone,
It's Barbara and I am back to show you a beautiful two toned bow that I made using two different colored ribbons. I know, we are just beginning the month of February and Valentine's cards are probably still on your mind, but, I had this beautiful gold and a green sheer ribbon in my stash and I wanted to make a St. Patrick's themed card.  Sheer ribbons are my favorite type of ribbon to use with the Craft-Dee BowZ  tool.

This tool

gives you the ability
to make a
bow like this

And here is the bow on my card.

Since I have no St. Patty's stamps, (imagine that!!) I just used green card stocks and a great little shamrock  punch. I stamped a beautiful butterfly, glittered it up and I perched it on a rosette. Scored the background paper and traced the score marks with a glue pen and covered with green glitter.

OK,  get your valentine cards done, then it will be on to St. Patty's Day cards. Get your Craft-Dee BowZ tool out to make your spectacular bows. Don't have one!!?!! Well to order yours today, click the Buy Now button located on the side bar.

Oh I almost forgot! You will want to stop back Thursday February 7, for the first Craft-Dee BowZ Blog Hop. We will be awarding a prize of a Craft-Dee BowZ tool and a spool of gorgeous ribbon. Since the design team is made up of  4 designers, it won't take you very long to get thru the hop. Commenting will put you in the running to be a prize winner.

I hope to see you back here Thursday for the Blog Hop. Have a great day

Barbara
