Happy Fall, Y'All

Hello, Amber here with today's Craft-Dee BowZ blog post. Fall is one of my favorite Seasons besides Winter, Spring... oh shoot, I guess I like them all but I do love Fall. The colors that the outdoors brings is so over whelming and amazing that I wanted my card to go in that direction.

I used the Woodland Branch die that Donna supplied us with and went a little crazy for my die cut birdie. Used Fall design paper and colors for my card. The orange/green bows just pop right off the card.

Now I want to go find a big pile of leaves to jump in! Happy Fall, Everyone!

Inky hugs,
Amber

Beautiful Fall Colors!!

As much as I LOVE Summer, the crisp cool is starting to be felt in the air signaling the approach of
Fall. So, I thought I would do a card with a little bit of both!!!! The Craft-Dee-Bowz tool makes doing
multiple loop bows so easy! My paper has some Summer colors and pattern, but the ribbon and
sentiment tag pick up the colors of Fall!

We got a beautiful assortment of ribbon this month, orange, yellow and green.
I wrapped a piece of the orange that was slightly gathered on the left edge of the card.
I then made a three loop bow with the orange and yellow. Then I made a three loop with
the green and placed it on top. I added a tiny rose and stick pin for a finishing touch!

You can use your Craft-Dee-Bowz tool and go to your scrap paper and make tons of
combinations of cards with left-overs and just ribbon!!!! Let your creativity do what it wants!!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Time for things that glow in the dark!

Hi everyone! Brenda here, with this weeks post. Our challenge was to make a multiple loop bow, using the green and orange ribbon that was provided for us. Also, Donna provided a woodland branch die from Memory Box.

I thought I would get a jump start on the Halloween cards I need to get done. This is what I came up with. I hope you like it as much as I had creating it?

Card Recipe
The glittered designer paper is layered onto a black card stock base.
The fence is created using a Martha Stewart border punch.
The pumpkin is by K & Company.
The designer paper and the words are Memory Makers.
Woodland Branch die is by Memory Box.
Pop dots were used on the fence, pumpkin and the Jack-O-Lantern sign to make them 3-D.
The bow is created using the Craft Dee Bowz bow maker.

Thank you for stopping by. Have craft filled week. Hugs Brenda

Birthday Blessings to You

Hi Everyone!!!
It's Barbara and I am back with my regular monthly post. Did you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend??? I sure did. Now it's time to get back in the swing of things, back to work, back to the normal routine.

Today I have a card for you that contains a  bit of orange in it.Normally I am not a big fan of orange, but my tastes must be changing 'cause it seems like I've used I used orange a lot lately. And here I go again today with more orange. LOL  That's OK, I guess I am in ushering the fall season, with my choice of orange colors on these cards lately.

I had some Tri Shutter cards cut out and ready to finish and I decided to use one of those for my card today.

I used my Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make the bow for this card. And you know, I always say this, that tool is easy to use and it lets me make fabulous bows every time. I opted for a double loop bow for this card. I really didn't want the bow to over power the side of the card. Did you notice that I layered the green ribbon down the center of that wide yellow ribbon. What a great effect.

I used one of my blank tri shutter cards as the card base.I added stamped images and gorgeous designer paper to really make that card come to life.
This first pic shows the card closed.

These tri-shutter cards are so fun to decorate, because there are so many areas to work with.
I love the fact that they will stand up on their own and show themselves off. LOL

The pic below is a view from the right looking to the left
The sentiment is positioned in the center.

I added 3 flowers to the right side of the card.

That butterfly is the perfect addition to the front area.

Craft-Dee BowZ has their monthly challenge going on right now. Hope you enter, you could be the next winner of the bow maker. Click here or go to the Monthly Challenge tab at the top of the page to check out the challenge blog and all the details.

Well that is it for now, have a great week.
Stop in next Tuesday for another post from one of the designers.
See ya soon.
