Is it spring yet?

It's my Tuesday to post on Craft-Dee BowZ for our February challenge of ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HAND MADE BOW! I used this very cute image from Bildmalarna. I have lots of their stamps and love their sweet faces. I chose this image because my spring bulb garden is blooming now. This year I have paper whites, daffodils, tulips, freesia, hyacinths and crocus! That's why I'm feeling like spring!

I used a Magnolia border die, an old butterfly punch, a corner die and a tag punch. I colored my image with Copics and 'textured' the egg to try and make it look like an actual egg shell. I added a dash of glitter to my flowers and butterflies.

This fabulous bow was made with my Craft-Dee BowZ bow tool. I love how it came out. I used green ribbon and green twine (thank you, Donna!). I love the two textures together and it tied beautifully in the middle. I resisted the urge to put a button in the middle of this great bow just because the bow came out so well!

Our sponsor is A Day For Daisies and they will provide a $12 gift card to the winner of this challenge!

A Day For Daisies provides themed categories of over 3000 digital illustrations and a fast growing line of new clear polymer stamp sets, including fairy tales and magical mermaids, cutie kids, vintage illustrations, sentiments and lovely designs for all occasions!

The entire team (all four of us) post our project on the first of every month using the sponsor of the month's images. Then each Tuesday one of us gets to post a project of our choice. Please take a look at the fabulous creations done this month by scrolling down!

A Day for Daisies frame and card set

Hi .
It is Tracey here with my inspiration post  for February
This month I have made this card and altered  A frame using a beautiful image from A Day For Daisies this months sponsor and she is  called "Pearls in my hair"  and you can find her HERE  .
I coloured her with spectrum  noir illustrator pens. I used papers from Anna Marie Designs teal paper pad. The flowers are from wild orchid. The frame was from a cheap pound or dollar store and I painted it with  white gesso and distressed the edges and added matching flowers and a birdcage charm .
The ribbon is from my Mpp pack and I used my Trusty   Craft-Dee Bowz  bow making tool to form the bows. It is so easy to use and forms beautiful multi looped bows every time with ease.

I hope you like my projects and that you will come and join us in the monthly challenge
That's all from me and Happy Crafting

Valentine Zombies

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi, it's Marty and it's my Tuesday to post on the Craft-Dee BowZ blog!   As a reminder, our monthly challenge is always ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HANDMADE BOW.  Our sponsor for this month is A Day For Daisies, and they're offering a $12 gift card to shop at their online store, so check them out!

Since it's Valentine's Day, I wanted to make a few cards for the occasion and decided that my kids would be the lucky recipients (LOL!).  They both love "The Walking Dead" TV show and I just happen to have a Zombie die set.

I just love making Tulle bows - thank you so much, Donna, for including Tulle with our ribbons!  I made 2 small bows, and I couldn't have made these little bows so perfectly without my Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  It's so easy to make different-sized bows and there are helpful tutorials here.   Need one?  Click right here.

If you'd like to know more about how I finished my project, please head over to my blog.

Thank you for stopping by today and we'd love to see you play along in the challenge - you could be our next winner!

Tracey will be back next Tuesday with some more inspiration so don't forget to stop by.  Enjoy your Valentine's Day!
