Marci and Her Teddy

Here it is, my Tuesday to post on Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge Blog! I'd like to thank Donna, the owner of CDB, for this adorable rubber stamp and the two ribbons I used on this card. The Team gets to use whatever image they want for their own post, and when I opened my surprise package for the month and found this stamp, I couldn't wait to ink her up!  She's by La La Land and her name is Sweet Dreams Marci.
I took out the sewing machine, again, and attached my striped paper to my polka dots and then my image to the piece of red paper behind her. This is the best sewing I've done so far and it's true that the more you do it, the better you get at it. And, a machine that's good on paper is wonderful! The flag on the left side of this card is three different washi papers taped on white paper and then trimmed. I'm trying hard to use some of the supplies I've accumulated and washi ribbon is on that list. The roses are from my stash of flowers. Here's a close-up pic of this very cute Marci. Don't you just love her bunny slippers?!
My bow is made with 2 different ribbons; a plain red and a polka dot ribbon. I love how this bow came out and the double "tails" are kinda' neat looking to me. My bow was made with my Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  What an easy time to make a bow with this little tool!  Do you use bows on your cards or projects? If you do, this will save you ribbon and the most precious commodity...your time!  Such an easy little tool to use and get awesome bows every time.
I hope you've been able to visit the Craft-Dee BowZ challenge blog and see each team member's fabulous projects that are posted each Tuesday!  If not, please scroll down!  We'd be delighted if you left a comment, too!

There's a few more days left on our monthly challenge so please get out your ribbon, make a bow, get it on your project and join us at Craft-Dee BowZ for our ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HAND MADE BOW challenge!
                                                                                         Thanks for stopping by!

Wishing you Happiness card and gift box set

Hi all
It is Tracey here with my  Tuesday inspiration post . The sponsors for this months challenge are Cute as a Button . they will be offering the challenge winner 3 images as the prize .
For my inspiration  projects I have made this card and matching gift box for a friend who just loves all things glittery and purple !
I hardly EVER use glitter in my projects but as I found a whole set of beautiful fine woodware glitters in my craft room whilst tidying up  I thought why not and have I  used a lot of it on these projects ...
I used the new Sue Wilson stained glass window die which I backed with double sided sticky sheets and added glitter to for the main panels on both the card and box. .I used small mulberry paper roses from wild orchid .The large flower in the centre I handmade using Foamiran , stamens and a gem centre  The leaves are made using a memory box die.

The sentiment is a stamp from Stampin Up . The beautiful bow was created using my Craft-Dee BowZ Bow Maker which produces stunning single and multi looped bows with ease every time .

The box is quite large and had to be made from 2x  A3 sheet s of strong white card

I hope you like my projects and that you join us in the June challenge where Anything goes with a handmade bow
Happy Crafting
Tracey

Layered Bee

Hi, it's Marty and this is my last post on the Craft-Dee BowZ blog.  I've had a great time being on a team of awesome and talented ladies, and appreciate the opportunity given to me by Donna  - thank you, Donna :-)  Now about the current challenge...

As a reminder, our monthly challenge is always ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HANDMADE BOW.  This month’s sponsor is Cute as a Button and the winner of the June challenge will receive 3 single images of their choice.  They offer a large variety of digital stamps, so be sure to check them out.

Here's my project:

I used a beautiful ribbon and some twine, both from Donna (thank you!!), and made a double-loop bow with the bow tool....the bow tool makes it so easy to make any size bow, single or multi-loop...there are helpful tutorials hereIf you don't have a bow tool, click here to order one.

If you'd like to know more about how I made that cool Tim Holtz Layered Bee, please head over to my blog.

Thank you for stopping by today and we'd love to see you play along in the challenge - you could be our next winner!

Tracey will be back next Tuesday with some more inspiration so don't forget to stop by.  Have an awesome day!

Turn over a New Leaf

Hi Everyone
It's Barbara here and since it's Tuesday I thought I'd pop in to share with you a shaped card, today. Something a little different. And I think this is a real eye catcher.

I keep seeing these shaped cards on Pinterest and they have been cut from a die set. Unfortunately, most of those die sets are no longer available. That's me, a day late and a dollar short. LOL

Well, I decided to cut my own design so this is what I came up with.

As I was making this card and adding the layers I thought a smaller bow was in order for this card.

And you probably already know - the Craft_Dee BowZ really gives you the ability to make bows from 1" to about 4 1/2". For a card that is a great range.

My bow is a triple loop bow.

Please don't forget that the June Craft-Dee BowZ challenge has started and will be going on thru the month. So you have plenty of time to get a project made and submitted
Click here to go to the challenge page,

The prize for the winner of the June challenge will be
3 single digital images from our sponsor this month - Cute As A Button

Stop back next Tuesday to check out what project Marty has designed

Have a wonderful week.
