Happy happy day!

I love making happy cards and for my Tuesday post at Craft-Dee BowZ, I'm using this stamp from Little Miss Muffet named Polka Dot Pals Jane. Put on your sunglasses...this card is definitely orange.

I used orange and red on my card, a combination I never use since I'm not a fan of orange, but I loved this paper and thought I'd give orange a try. Did you see these tulips on my page? They're buttons that I cut off the back of them and glued them on. My best friend, Lillian, sent them to me for Easter...aren't they absolutely perfect with this image?!  The tulips are red although the glow from the orange paper makes them look orange-y. I used my white Sharpie and gave her polka dots on her skirt.

And the best is always last...my bow. I used 2 different orange ribbons and love how the bow came out! I used my bow tool and it made it so easy to do! Thank you, Donna at Craft-Dee BowZ, for this awesome ribbon!

I hope you've been able to visit the Craft-Dee BowZ challenge blog and see each team member's fabulous projects that are posted each Tuesday!  If not, please scroll down!  We'd be delighted if you left a comment, too!

There's a few more days left on our monthly challenge so please get out your ribbon, make a bow, get it on your project and join us at Craft-Dee BowZ for our ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HAND MADE BOW challenge!

Happy Independance Day box set

Hi
It is Tracey here with my inspiration post for this week.
I thought I would make a lovely Independence Day set of mini cards and envelopes for my project this month.. I really enjoyed making these cards ,envelopes and matching box to hold them in.
The papers I used are from The works  the 12x 12 pad they came from is called Pretty Red Classics.
I used scalloped  oval and classic  oval spellbinders dies . The banners are dies from memory box. The flowers are stamps from Stampin up .
The envelopes are made using the we are memory keepers envelope punch board. The box was handmade from 2 pieces of A4 cardstock and the finished cards measure 4in x 3in so they are quite small  but I love the idea of a little gift box of cards to give your friends .
I used my Craft-Dee BowZ Bow Maker to make the paper bow on top of the box. It is my go to bow maker as it produces perfect single or multi loop bows every time ... with ease ,even with paper ribbon

I hope you like my project and that you will join us in the Craft-Dee BowZ July challenge where Anything goes with a handmade bow
Happy Crafting

Be Yourself

Hi, Kathy here and this is my first Tuesday post with the Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge blog.  I am totally thrilled to have the honor to become part of this awesome team.  A big Thank You to Barbara and Donna.

For my first Tuesday post I have chosen Trixie, an image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I simply adore this image.  Brings back so many child-hood memories for me.

I colored her up with various copic markers, then used some dies and papers from my stash. For more detailed information on copic colors, etc., come visit my blog, Kathy's Kraft Room, I loved to have you follow-me.

The handmade bow was made using the awesome Craft-Dee BowZ  bow tool.  What an amazing and easy tool to use.  Makes making the perfect bow so easy every single time.

Please come join us for this month's challenge, Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow. The team has made some fantastic projects for the month and we have lots of really nice cards and projects for this challenge so far.  Looking forward to seeing what all you have to share with us.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs,

Kathy
