Thinking of You

Hello everyone, Barbara here

Time for the last post for the month of January.

Speaking of time, this month has flown by, hasn't it!!!

The Craft-Dee BowZ challenge is still going on, and you have a few hours to submit your creative piece in our challenge. The theme is - Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow. You still have time and you could be the next winner.

Let me share my card I made for you today.

My bow for this card is a single loop bow. I used a beautiful satin ribbon.

The bow was so easy to make since I used my Craft-DeeBowZ tool

It's easy to use, lightweight, stores easily, is portable.
What more could you ask for?
Order one today, You won't be sorry.

Please stop over at my blog, for more information.

Thanks for stopping in today. Thursday is the start of the February challenge and we will be announcing the January challenge winners.

Hope to see you then.

Christmas Cardinals

Hi, today's it's my turn to post a card on Craft-Dee BowZ since each member of our team gets a 'Tuesday" and guess what...this is my week!  My husband and I recently bought a house in a small town in Kentucky. We're doing renovations on the Kentucky house while we still live in Phoenix, and that is a challenge!  While in Kentucky over Christmas, in our 3 acre backyard, we saw some beautiful wildlife. One of the birds we saw were cardinals. Seeing them inspired me to use this beautiful image by Stampavie for my card.
I'd like you to see what I saw out my Kentucky kitchen window the day before Christmas.  Just this beautiful bright red spot in this dormant tree (and yes, I'm bribing them with seed bells all around the property).
I colored my image with Copics and used some 3-d white paint and glitter for snow falling.
And I will apologize now for my awful picture below. Some how, some way, I cut off the bottom of my bow when I took the photograph. I am so sorry for this awful picture, but you can at least see my pretty double looped satin bow with the pretty winter brad glued in the middle. Making bows is so easy with my bow tool.  I used to be pretty good at making bows by wrapping the ribbon around my fingers, but after getting my bow tool it's so much faster, easier and I save ribbon since every bow comes out great the first time. If you make bows for your cards, you really need to get this cute and compact bow tool
Our sponsor this month is Beccy's Place and the winner of this challenge will receive one set of digital stamps!

I hope you've had a chance to look at the creations by Barb, Tracey and Kathy this month and that you've gotten your card posted to our challenge. Our challenge is ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A HAND MADE BOW!

                                                       Thanks for stopping by!

Memories....

Hi
It is Tracey here with my mid challenge  inspiration post . I thought I would challenge myself to make a card without a cute hand coloured  digi stamp which is what I usually use...[ you may have noticed this in the past]. I rifled through my somewhat new but unused stamps and came up with this design .The Pocket watch stamp and the sentiment stamp are from the time travellers set by Sheena Douglas .It just shows that these stamps don't have to be used for  steampunk /grungy designs. The beautiful papers are from Anna Marie designs. The flowers are from Wild Orchid  have had cosmic shimmer glitter jewels added . The hearts are dies from memory box.

The stunning triple looped bow has been created using my Craft-Dee BowZ   bow making tool which is my go to bowmaker to make beautiful single or multi looped bows every time effortlessly

This card has a lot of dimension which can only be seen on a side on photo ..

I hope you like my project and that you join in the fun in this months challenge where "Anything goes with a handmade bow .
Happy Crafting

Peace be With You Little Bird

Hi Kathy here and it is my Tuesday to post for our Challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ.  For my card, I chose this little girl who is feeding a little bird from the palm of her hand. I would imagine that as she is feeding the little bird she is saying "Peace be With You Little Bird".

The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and is titled Urchin with Bird.  I colored her with my Copic Markers.  Papers that I used are from my stash.  I added some chunky embossing powder around the image to give it a bit of texture.

My bow was created using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  I always struggled creating a bow, but this makes it so easy.

I hope I have inspired you today and you will join in on our challenge for this month, our sponsor for the month is Beccy's Place.  We have a very talented Design Team that always has a lot to offer.

Speaking of Design Team, remember to tune in next Tuesday to see what Tracy has to offer.  I am sure you will be in for something awesome.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have an great day.
