Have a Blessed Christmas

Hi Everyone,
It's Barbara here and I am leading off  November with projects that use dies from Diemond Dies along with my bow. This month all the designers at Craft-Dee BowZ have a real treat for you, we are all using Diemond Dies in our projects. Diemond Dies is a company committed to producing American made dies with popular styles that will appeal to scrapbookers, card makers, altered artists, and general paper crafters.  Whether your style is clean and simple, vintage and shabby, or something in between, they have dies for you!

The designers will be posting throughout the month using different Diemond Dies (some designers will be posting several times). To be eligible to win the beautiful die set pictured  in the post above, be sure to come back to the post above and leave a comment. Since there will be many projects (posts) throughout the month, for every comment you leave on that post, your name will be put in a pot, giving you more opportunities to win.  And don’t forget, give the designer some love on her blog too.

Diemond Dies offers a really great selection. Check out the selection that they offer, here.  Today I am spotlighting the Pine Branch die in my project. This is a great time of the year to use this die.

When I received this die, I envisioned a wreath so that's what I designed for you.

And I really wanted the wreath to stand on it's own so to speak, so I made an easel card.
And here is the card opened. I added a multi loop bow to the side of the wreath. The Craft-Dee BowZ tool gives you the flexibility of making your bows in various sizes, to better fit the project you are working on.

This is a view from overhead, to give a view of the base and the wreath opened.

Here is a close up of the wreath

Now its time for you to start thinking about your cards and projects. Hope this gives you some ideas.

I will be back Thursday spotlighting another die and the card I made, so, I hope to see you then..

The witching hour..

Hello bow makers!  Isn't this one of the most fun times of the year?  We can tap into that inner child that's always lurking and do crazy, spooky, funny things on Halloween.  I have so many fond memories of Halloweens past when my kids were young.  The fun of concocting costumes for them that THEY wanted.  I certainly had to reach deep to come up with something suitable to keep them happy.  But I wouldn't have traded the experience for the world.

Here's a quick little card that I did using some Authentique background papers.  Add a brew-stirring witch and some embellishments, top it off with a double/multipleloop bow and you are done!  I hope to do a video shortly showing just how easy this bow is to make.  I know, I know, we keep coming up with different ways of creating multiple loop bows!  And we do it all for you!

Enjoy and Happy Haunting!

Halloween Keepsake by Karen

Hi there,

I am Guest Designing today and sharing this little Halloween Keepsake. I thoroughly enjoyed creating this.  It's perfect for this time of year. The base for this project is a wooden frame. I added magnets to the back of the frame to add a little versatility to it. I can enjoy the keepsake as a table top piece or a piece of art on the fridge. I used patterned papers by DCWV. The multi loop bow was created using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  I love how simple and easy my bows are as a result of  using the bow tool.
