Love is in the air!

Well, it's the last Tuesday in January so that means it's my turn to post on Craft-Dee BowZ .  This month our sponsor is Cute as a Button. Francesca at Cute as a Button is a talented artist and I know you'll love her images, so please go and visit her store!

I used this adorable digital image named Share the Love from Cute as a Button for my project this month.

I colored my image with Copics and chalked the outside of the oval for a bit of color.  The heart lace around the image is from JoAnn's and was on a spool. The pretty silver heart clip with 'love' written in it is from Live & Love Crafts.  This fabulous shaped card was made with dies from Go Kreate.

Below is my flower arrangement. I used flowers from I Am Roses and Wild Orchid Crafts. The sparkly heart is my own creation. I die cut a heart onto double stick tape stuck on heavy white cardstock and sprinkled Crystal Stars Glitter - Rose on it. Then I covered it all with Glossy Accents and while it was wet I added another sprinkle of Crystal Stars Glitter. When that dried, I added one more layer of Glossy Accents. It's very 3-D, but smooth and you can see depth due to the Glossy Accents.

And my bow was made on my Craft-Dee BowZ tool which is why it looks so nice. This little tool is outstanding, inexpensive, handy to hang by the ribbon and easy to use! This double looped, double ribboned, bow came out so pretty and I hope the photo captures it well for you to see. The red jewel in the center has crinkled foil on the back, making it look sparkly.

The winner of the January Craft-Dee BowZ challenge of ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HAND MADE BOW will be 2 images of their choice from Cute as a Button. Along with that you'll get our badge to put on your blog. I hope you'll join us this month and your time is running out so get your card posted to the Craft-Dee BowZ challenge blog soon!

I Am Yours

Hi
It is Tracey here with my inspiration project for you ..We have a fabulous sponsor for the Craft-DeeBowZ challenge this month and it is "Cute as a Button "

The Lucky winner of the Craft-Dee BowZ January Challenge "Anything  goes with a handmade"
bow will receive 2 digi images as their prize from  "Cute as a Button "

I chose the gorgeous image called I'm Yours and you will find her HERE
I have created an easel card using my spellbinders Grande oval dies..The papers I have used are from Bo Bunny and are called Isabella. The fab image was coloured using promarkers.

The stunning  double bow was created using my trusty Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool and beautiful pink organza ribbon from my mpp pack,. I wanted to add a WOW factor to my bow so I created a multi loop bow in cream to place underneath the pink one again using my Bow making tool. I added a cute sparkly gem centre to finish it all off

I added some pretty flowers  and flourishes and die cut balloons tied with twine and a cute little twine bow

this is how the card stands (side view)

I hope you will join us in the challenge sponsored by "Cute as a Button "  and that you visit the Design teams blogs for more inspiration
Happy crafting

"YOU Pop my buttons" with "Button Love"!

Vicki here...it's time for my creative inspiration on the Craft-Dee BowZ Blog! This month, our Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge is being sponsored by "Cute As A Button".  We are excited and delighted to be working with their fantastic images!

The winner of  Craft-Dee BowZ  January challenge, "Anything goes and include a HANDMADE bow", will receive 2 images of their choice from Cute As A Button!  How exciting is that? So, don't miss the opportunity to play along with us.

My digital image choice just happened to be the Cute As A Button logo, "Button Love".

Using the "Button Love" image and the fact that buttons are round, I continued the theme throughout my card.  The image is printed on white cardstock, colored with watercolor pencils and die-cut in a circle.  It's matted with a yellow, scalloped circle and mounted on a folded display stand similar to an easel card.  The sentiment is also printed on white cardstock, die-cut in a circle and matted with a scalloped circle.  And, this is where the fun began...buttons, buttons and more buttons.  Everywhere...in her hair, under the bow, in the corners.  I couldn't stop adding buttons!

Next, came the beautiful bow.   Ahhh....I love this pink and white double bow created with my Craft-Dee BowZ Bow Making Tool.  I made a multi-loop bow of yellow and white twine to place underneath too.  Then, I added fun buttons to the center of it.

I love the overall bright colors and fun theme of this card!

Love

Hi Everyone,

Barbara here with the 1st Tuesday of the month post.

Well I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. Now I guess it's back to the same ole routine.

The Designers theme here at CDB for January is Love and since my little Buddie (my cat) is not feeling up to par, I decided to use this cute image of the little girl and her cat.

I decided to make a 3 loop bow. I was aiming for a bow that would not overwhelm this card. I think this looks OK

I made an easel card 'cause they are so fun to make and send (and get too). I love these cards, no measuring  for the most part, and they look great opened and I think a bow works well with these card styles too.

You know with the Craft-Dee BowZ tool you can make any sized  bow, from 1' to 4 1/2". These sizes are perfect for cards, scrapbook pages and even wrapped gifts.  You can order yours here.

Don't forget to enter a card or project in the CDB monthly challenge. The theme is always Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow. Our January sponsor is Cute As A Button and the prize for the challenge winner is two digi images. Love their images

Next Tuesday Vicki will be posting and she will be using a darling Cute As A Button image. Mark your calendar and come back to check her project out. (I snuck, or is it sneaked, a peek and her project is adorable, You will love it.)

Thanks for stopping in today.
