Under the Sea

Hello, it's Marty and this is my first post on the Craft-Dee BowZ blog!  Before I share my project, I just want to remind everyone that our monthly challenge is always ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HANDMADE BOW.  Our sponsor for this month is Fred She Said -  check out their site and you'll find an awesome variety of digital stamps to choose from.

Today I'm sharing a project I made last week.  Last summer I got some new Julie Nutting doll stamps and one of them was the SeaSallie Mermaid.  Since then, I've been wanting to use her in a project, but hadn't gotten around to it yet.  Since she's a larger stamp, I decided to use an 8"x10" canvas I had in my craft supplies.  Here's my canvas:

Check out this double-loop bow!  Thank you, Donna, for the gorgeous ribbon.  I couldn't have made this without the Craft-Dee BowZ tool because it's easy to make different-sized bows and there are helpful tutorials here Need one?  Click right here.

If you'd like to know more about how I finished my project, please head over to my blog.

Thank you for stopping by today and we'd love to see you play along in the challenge - you could be our next winner!

Tracey will be back next Tuesday with some more inspiration so don't forget to stop by.  Have a crafty day!

Back To School

Hello everyone.

Welcome to September and to the sponsor here this month -  Robyn's Fetish

Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More is proud to sponsor this months challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ. Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More, a division of I Did It Creations, was created and is owned by Robyn Weinrib. Robyn offers a wonderful variety of digital stamps and digital papers,
designed to meet the needs of all digital paper crafting addicts for every occasion. Robyn’s Fetish Digital Stamps And More is happy to award 3 digital stamps of the winner’s choice
to the winner of this months challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ.

Since school is back in session (probably everywhere)
I decided to make a card with a back to school theme.
Over at Robyn's Fetish, I saw the perfect image for my card,
an apple and the worm reading his book (Apple With Smart Worm),
perfect for the card I wanted to make.

Here is a closer view of this cute Smart Worm

I added a beautiful double loop bow
using a gorgeous lime green hounds tooth check
 patterned wired ribbon.
I thought it a great accent to the smart worm.

To make this bow I use my Craft-Dee BowZ tool. The tool is easy to use and is easy to store and small enough to take with you if you travel, go to a crop or even just to a friends house.
You can order one here

You still have plenty of time to get your project entered

The theme is always - Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow.
Can't wait to see what you are going to enter in our challenge

Stop back next Tuesday to see the beautiful project Vicki has made.

The Wonder and Magic of Christmas

Hi Everyone,
It's Barbara here today. Welcome to December, the last month of the year. If you haven't finished your Christmas cards yet, I have a little inspiration for you today.

And here is a close-up of the bow.
The bow is a three loop bow and the ribbon has a little bit of wire in the edges. I love this type of ribbon, it makes for a great bow.

To order, click the Buy Now button on the left sidebar.

Just a reminder that the last blog hop for 2013 here at Craft-Dee BowZ, starts Thursday. I sure hope you join us and leave comments. We will be awarding a Craft-Dee BowZ tool to one lucky commenter, and that could be you. Blog hop starts Thursday and the winner will be announced Saturday.

See you Thursday.
