Peace On Earth

Hello Crafters
Hope you are having a crafty week so far.
Barbara here with the first Tuesday Inspiration project for November

Everyone is getting in the holiday mode and my card is no exception.

My card is more of a wintry scene than an actual Christmas card.

Let me share it with you.

Doesn't that really remind you of snow, winter etc.???
Snow, I know, but it's probably on its way sooner vs later.

Let me share a closer view of the bow.

You know the Craft-Dee BowZ tool is the best tool to use to make a bow.
The tool is small, makes little bows or larger ones,
Its portable and is easy to  store - takes up very little room.

Need one???  Click on the Buy Now button here on the left sidebar.

I have additional information about my card
over on my blog, click here to check it out

BTW, don't forget,
the Craft-Dee BowZ challenge is in full swing
It is open all month
and the theme is ANYTHING GOES. (no bow required)

Hope you submit, you might be the November winner.

That's it for now
Hope you liked my inspiration card

Next Tuesday, Kathy will be on board with her inspiration project
Stop in to see what she has created with you in mind.

a birthday wish

How's your day going today!!!

Barbara here with a card for a birthday celebration. I used mainly scraps for this card and I have way too many scraps. I seem to save lots of bits of papers/card stock so I have a lot of different designs and colors to choose from. LOL  So if you fall into that category, then this card might be right up your alley.

I saw a card on Pinterest that is similar to this design, so it was my inspiration.

Also, the only stamping on this card is the sentiment. I wanted to keep this card kind of simple.

I left a bit of extra room at the bottom of the card for my bow to be placed.

Let me share my card with you.

I have additional information on my blog pertaining to my card. Hope you will stop over.

My bow - it's an easy stacked bow. 2 single loop bows stacked on top of each other.

Here is a closer view.

I used a pretty pink sheer ribbon. Sheer ribbon is my favorite ribbon to use. Easy to work with and you will get really tight knots.

Need an easy to use bow maker??
Craft-Dee BowZ has you covered.
Its small, easy to use, lightweight and portable.
Order yours over on the left sidebar.

This is the last inspiration card for May.
The June challenge will be starting Friday, June 1.
Our challenges are monthly
The theme is always - Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow.

Stop back Friday for the June inspiration projects using digi's from our June sponsor.

Valentine Gift Bags

Hey there, Kathy here and it's my Tuesday to post for Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge.  Well tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I made these bags for my best friends.  We have been friends since grade school which by the way was a very long time ago.

You see I love Valentine's Day and I am always looking to make small little items to pass out for this special little day. Inspired by Nichol Spohr I created these darling little bags.

The stamp set I used is from Mama Elephant and is called Page Huggers.  They call them Page Huggers because the dies cut a slit under their arms so they can hold onto things like the edge of the bag with a little valentine in hand.

I colored each little critter with my copic markers, then used my Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make a little bow to adorn each bag  You can get your own Craft-Dee BowZ tool here.  I added some paper confetti, some Dove Chocolate's and fastened them with a tiny closthespin.

Here is a couple of the bags close up that shows what a cute little bows the tool makes  You can make them smaller than these to a really nice size.

I hope you will join us this month for our challenge.  We look forward in seeing what you have to share with us.  Up next Tuesday is the awesome Tracy so make sure to stop back to see what she has in store.to share.

Thanks for stopping by.

Emma and Ellie

Hi there, Kathy here and it's my Tuesday to post on the Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge Blog. Have you had a chance to enter into our August challenge.  We have some really amazing creations from all over and there is such great talent from everyone.

My card was made using this adorable little image called Emma and Ellie from Connie Fong. Isn't she and her elephant just adorable.

After printing her out, I colored her up with my Copic markers.

The flower is from my Wild Orchid Crafts collection, die is from LRDS (it can be found here), card stock and printed papers are from my stash.  The ribbons, were made using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  Have you tried this tool yet? If not what are you waiting for?  It can be found here.  It is so easy to use and makes a perfect bow every time.  I stuck a stick pin that I added beads to through the two bows.  Then I made a loop out of the end and added a tear drop bead as to appear as if it were a charm.  Again things I had in my stash.

I hope you have enjoyed this little card and I really hope I was able to inspire you. Remember to join us for the August Challenge, theme is Anything Goes with an added Handmade Bow.  Can't wait to see what all you have to share with us.

Hugs,

Kathy

Play Ball

Hi everyone Monica here with a Craft-Dee Bowz post for Tuesday!!.  The task was to create a masculine and for me this definitely is a challenge because I am so used to doing girly-girl post so I hope this card turned out masculine and still pretty lol.  I created a multiple loop bow with the CDB tool by winding several times around the pegs and tying the twine in the center.

To be honest I never thought I would like twine really, but man where has this stuff been I absolutely love it because of its versatility you can use it for literally anything so I am sold on this stuff for sure.  I hope everyone enjoyed my post for today and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Just For You

Hi Everyone,

How are you doing today?? Hope you are having a wonderful day.

Today is my post day here at Craft-Dee BowZ. This month the theme for the designers is masculine. Those seem to be difficult cards to come up with for some reason. LOL

The card I made uses a stamp that I love and have had for eons and will probably love it til I die.

Isn't that birdie too cute!!

My bow is just a single loop bow, but to make it somewhat different, after the bow was finished,  I just pulled on one of the loops and that made the bow lopsided, which is exactly the look I wanted. Let me show you a closer view.

The ribbon I used is a very nice, heavier cloth ribbon, like a herringbone ribbon, and is better suited for a single loop bow, perfect for this theme and card.

You know, Craft-Dee BowZ has the best bow making tool around!! If you don't own one, you may want to check out the videos to see how easy it is to make a bow using the tool and then order one for your very own. You won't regret it!!

Before I forget, I hope you stop back tomorrow evening for the Craft-Dee BowZ bi-monthly blog hop. The blog hop starts at 10:00 p.m. sharp. Stop and comment on all the designers blogs along the way and that will put you in the running for a prize give away of a Craft-Dee BowZ tool of your own.The prize will be awarded on Saturday.

I hope to see you sometime throughout the hop.

Magical Canvas with Dana

Hi Craft-Dee BowZ fans! Dana here with my last post as an official Craft-Dee BowZ designer. I had a lot of fun with the Butterflies and Fairies theme and aqua color palette for this month. I created this 6x6 canvas for my scrap space.

I incorporated a lot of different textures on this piece. I love the mix of canvas, metal, organza and satin.

I used my Craft-Dee BowZ Tool to die this simple double-loop bow.

Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to enter the June Anything Goes Challenge for your chance to win a spool of ribbon!

Guest Designer - Robin Parker

I am so excited to be Guest Designing for Craft-Dee Bowz once again.  I just love this bow making tool.  So easy and simple that anyone can use this product to create beautiful bows.

This style of image is difficult for me as I am not used to creating anything vintage.  So I went outside of my box and used three different sizes of the image and cut the out and used pop dots to give the raised effect.  The beautiful bow was created using the Craft-Dee Bowz tool.

The Birdhouse

Hi Everyone,
Today is the 5th Tuesday for this month. I usually post here at Craft-Dee BowZ on the 1st Tuesday but that date was April 1 and we post the the new challenge on beginning of the month. So since there were 5 Tuesdays this month, I decided to post on the 5th Tuesday which is today. Whew, did you follow me on that one. LOL

I decided on a darling birdhouse and bird for my card today.

Used my trusty Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make my double loop bow using my gray satin ribbon. I layered that on top of a piece of dotted ribbon that is wound like roses. It's probably hard to see because the bow is layered on top.

Guest Designer Karen Jiles- "I Love Your Style" Keepsake Tutorial

Hi there,

This is my first post as a Guest Designer for Craft-Dee BowZ. I am sharing this little keepsake and tutorial titled, "I Love Your Style." This keepsake was a joy to create. The base for this project is a wooden frame. I used patterned papers, stickers and die cuts by We R Memory Keepers. The double bow was created using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool, which makes creating bows effortless. This makes a perfect gift for a stylish friend or for your own craft space. I am including a tutorial below...:)

Supplies

Craft-Dee BowZ Tool

Frame (7 ¾ x 7 ¾)

Patterned Paper (7 ¼ x 7 ¼, Additional layers sized down in ½ increments)

Cardstock (Base layer: 7 ½ x 7 ½, Coordinating layer: 6 ½ x 6 ½)

Die Cuts

Stickers

Ribbon

Clear Bulb

Black ink

Black Marker

Xyron Adhesive

Hot Glue

3-D Tape

Scissors

Step One: Apply black ink to edges of patterned paper.

Step Two: Run Base layer of cardstock through Xyron Creatopia Machine and adhere to frame.

Step Three: Apply adhesive to back of patterned paper and wrap corners with ribbon. Using mega runner, apply adhesive to corners and adhere to frame.

Step Four: Apply black ink to all  patterned paper and sticker layers. Starting with 6 ½ x 6 ½ black cardstock layer, continue layering patterned papers, cardstock and stickers onto frame until happy with design. Use 3-D tape to pop up desired elements. Note: I cut various components from patterned paper and layered them together to achieve the desired look. Set aside.

Step Five: Add metal rods to desired width of bow and wrap ribbon around rods creating a U shape.  This particular bow created a 2 ¼ in. bow.

Step Six: Wrap ribbon around once more to create a double loop bow.

Step Seven: Tuck left tail under bow.

Step Eight: Tie into a knot. Even up the bow by tightening tails with both hands.

Step Nine: Slide bow off Craft-Dee BowZ tool and snip ends.  Use fingers to continue fluffing the bow out to create the desired fullness. Note: This particular bow was created for tutorial purposes.  The bow used on the “I Love Your Style” Keepsake was the same ribbon turned over to use the dull side of the ribbon versus the more enhanced designed side.

Step Ten: Adhere bow and clear bulb to frame using hot glue.

Finished it off with this lovely flower arrangement and look a my perfect bow lol yes I am super excited about my bow and this tool is a must!
I hope everyone enjoyed my 1st post as a GDT for Craft-Dee Bowz!!

Spring Flings and Easter Things with Dana Tatar

Hi Craft-Dee BowZ fans! Dana Tatar here today sharing an Easter themed card. I chose a beautiful cardstock sticker for the focal point of my card. I embellished the sticker with a flower and added some pearl accents with a pearl pen. I die-cut a scallop edge mat for the sticker and the topped that with a beautiful double-loop bow that I tied with my Craft-Dee BowZ Tool.

I topped my bow with a bunny charm. The green die-cut that I placed under the sticker was lined in black. I mimicked that design element on the yellow cardstock to tie the design together.

There is still time to enter the March challenge! Click here for all the details.

Thanks for stopping in today and have a great week!
~Dana

Guest Designer Robin Parker - Sending Love

I am thrilled to be the Guest Designer for Craft-Dee Bowz!  It is a fabulous monthly challenge with great prizes to win!  I just love this wonderful bow maker that you can get from Craft-Dee BowZ.  It is the easiest and it creates gorgeous bows!  No craft room can go with out the bow maker (hurry and buy yours today, you won't regret it)!

I have created this card using a pre-colored image that my sister sent to me when I first started making cards.  My designer paper is from Hobby Lobby. To create my frame around my darling snowman I used "Opulent Ovals" by Spellbinders® Paperarts.  The bow is made with the bow maker and I even used eyelet trim, any ribbon/trim used with the Craft-Dee BowZ bow maker turns out stunning! My finishing touches are three pink heart buttons.

A Purple Christmas

Hi! It's Amber here with a blog post. Yes, I know the next Craft-Dee BowZ DT blog post should be next Tuesday but that is Christmas Eve! So here I am with my blog post now. Also this is my last blog post for Craft-Dee BowZ but don't worry, you will still be able to catch all my work over at my blog and you can be sure I'll still be using the Craft-Dee BowZ maker on all my creations!

The ribbon Donna sent us was a very pretty purple but my camera doesn't like it so that is why it looks like it does. I paired it with the same color cardstock that I stamped sliver snowflakes on. Used a Christmas tree bling again on silver cardstock. The background I embossed with an ornament folder and then distressed the cardstock to show the purple.

Hope you have enjoyed my posts while on the team. Can't wait to see next year's teams' projects. Thank you, Donna for allowing me to be a part of Craft-Dee BowZ maker's first Design Team. It has been an exciting adventure and like I said, I'll always be using the Craft-Dee BowZ maker.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Amber
