What makes you happy?

Hello and it's time for me to post my inspiration for the week at Craft-Dee BowZ!  Today I chose an image from Sassy Cheryl. There's four of us on the team here at Craft-Dee BowZ and each of us gets a week to be featured. I hope you check back every Tuesday to see the new creations on the CDB Blog!

I colored my image with Copics and added a few polka dots to her dress to match her bow. I added this tiny pearl earring and some Ranger Glossy Accents to her patent leather shoes. I found these flower sequins at a craft store a while back and added just 3 of them as well as 3 pretty pearls. For reference, my card is 6"x 6".

My flowers are all made out of ribbon and the leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pretty acrylic flower is from my stash.

My bow is a little different this week. I always make double looped and triple looped bows. But I wanted you to see how perfect the bow tool can make even the simplest of bows, a single loop bow made out of grosgrain ribbon. Size is not an issue with the bow tool and you can make small bows to large bows and single to multi-looped bows. I love adding ribbon and lace to my cards and just a small bow can make such a difference to a creation! Here's what my bow tool looks like. It's affordable and simple to use.

Our sponsor this month is Bugaboo and the very generous prize is four images of the winner's choice!  Bugaboo has hundreds of images and I am sure you're going to find more than four that you'd like!

There's five more days left in our challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ and I hope you'll join us. Remember that our challenge is ANYTHING GOES!

                                                                             Thanks for stopping by!

a time to celebrate

Good morning

Tracey here with my mid month inspiration project for this months challenge . I have used the pretty Altenew stamp set called Peony Bouquet . I heat embossed the flowers onto vellum and coloured the background with dusty concord and salty ocean distress ink . I created a background using the same distress colours

And added a simple oval frame using dies to frame the flowers and added a Sheena Douglas sentiment and a pretty bow made using my craftdeebowz bow maker I hope you like my project and that you will come and join in the challenge fun

Happy crafting

Tracey

Monkey Business

Hello and Kathy here, it's my Tuesday to post for some inspiration.

For my hosting project, I created a birthday card for my daughter who turned a big whopping 24.  I used the July 2020 LaLa Land Club Kit.  I figured she needed these monkeys because she always has some sort of Monkey Business going on. I am really enjoying these Club Kits from LaLa Land.

Here is what the inside looks like.

And here is a close up of the bow, that I made using the Craft-Dee BowZ bow tool.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge.  Our sponsor for the this month is Bugaboo Digital Stamps.  Please feel free to visit my blog at: kathyskraftroom.blogspot.com

She also has some adorable images as well, so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy.  Up next is Tracey.

Until next time,
Kathy

Thinking of You

Barbara here and......
Welcome to the first Inspiration Tuesday post in August.
Every Tuesday the designers take turns posting an inspiration project for your viewing pleasure.

Today I decided to share a card that I made using flowers and of course my card has a bow.

Let me share it with you

I know we have just entered August but fall will be here in no time. So I decided to make some flowers with spring/summer colors. Pretty soon we will be looking at beautiful flowers in the rich fall colors.

Here is a closer view of my bow.

This is a triple loop bow and
I used my Craft-Dee BowZ tool  to make this fluffy bow.

The CDB tool really aides me in making all my bows.

Do you have your CDB tool yet?? No???
This tool is smaller, easy to use, travels well and it's easy to store.
It will make bows from 1" to 4 1/2"
You can order yours by clicking on the
Buy Now button here on the left sidebar.

Click here  to go to my blog for more info about my project

Just a reminder -
The August Craft-Dee BowZ challenge has started and runs thru August 30.
The theme is Anything Goes (no bow required)
You could be the next winner,
We are looking forward to your submission.

That it for now
Stop back next Tuesday to see what Kathy has come up with
for her Inspiration Tuesday project

Thanks for stopping by
Be well and stay safe
