So the theme this month for the DT is wedding and the colors are cream or white. What? Colors? Omg! I totally forgot about the colors because when I saw the pretty ribbon we had to work with, my mind automatically went Vintage.
But in looking at my finished card, I played by the "challenge" as I do
have cream on my card. Whew! I used brown ribbon to which I laid lace
over top of it and then made my triple loop bow using the Craft-Dee BowZ
maker. I love how the lace stayed right on top of it during the entire
process.
To make my card even more vintage looking, I sponged distress ink on
all the pattern paper layers. The middle is chipboard covered in paper
and then distressed. I stamped "Mr. & Mrs." in two different shades
of brown ink on the oval covered chipboard. To finish off my card, I
attached some "wedding" rings to the side of the covered chipboard.
Hope you enjoyed my card!

Top O' the Morning
Hi Everyone,
It's Barbara and I am back to show you a beautiful two toned bow that I made using two different colored ribbons. I know, we are just beginning the month of February and Valentine's cards are probably still on your mind, but, I had this beautiful gold and a green sheer ribbon in my stash and I wanted to make a St. Patrick's themed card. Sheer ribbons are my favorite type of ribbon to use with the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.

This tool
gives you the ability
to make a
bow like this
And here is the bow on my card.
Since I have no St. Patty's stamps, (imagine that!!) I just used green card stocks and a great little shamrock punch. I stamped a beautiful butterfly, glittered it up and I perched it on a rosette. Scored the background paper and traced the score marks with a glue pen and covered with green glitter.
OK, get your valentine cards done, then it will be on to St. Patty's Day cards. Get your Craft-Dee BowZ tool out to make your spectacular bows. Don't have one!!?!! Well to order yours today, click the Buy Now button located on the side bar.
Oh I almost forgot! You will want to stop back Thursday February 7, for the first Craft-Dee BowZ Blog Hop. We will be awarding a prize of a Craft-Dee BowZ tool and a spool of gorgeous ribbon. Since the design team is made up of 4 designers, it won't take you very long to get thru the hop. Commenting will put you in the running to be a prize winner.

Barbara
