Lace and Pearls

Hi Everyone,
Welcome back to Craft-Dee BowZ. It's Barbara here and for the month of September the designers were given a theme for the DT posts of Lace and Pearls. Well that got my creativity juices flowing. Let me share with you the card I created.

I used a gorgeous pistachio green lace as my focal point. As I looked at the lace I kept thinking of Paris. I received an Eiffel Towel die and... well, it all came together.

This lace is so amazing and its the type that makes you just want to look at it, and touch it.Yummy!! You know what I mean.

My multi-loop bow was so easy to make using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool. If you haven't picked one up yet, this is a great tool especially if you feel you are bow challenged. There are great videos available to give you a visual in making a bow. And this tool is so easy to use.Visit my blog for more info.

Every Tuesday a different post is presented to offer great projects that are accented with a bow made with the CDB tool.Hope you stop in each week to be inspired and to get your bow "fix".

Hope you see something you can use in your project!!

Joy

Hi everyone Simply Monica here with a fun tag for Craft-Dee Bowz which is all about fun purple and flowers and I added this fun image to the center which seemed to go so well this tag. I made the flowers that I put on the tag with plain white cardstock and then I added some purple stamens to the center.

Mr. & Mrs.

So the theme this month for the DT is wedding and the colors are cream or white. What? Colors? Omg! I totally forgot about the colors because when I saw the pretty ribbon we had to work with, my mind automatically went Vintage.

But in looking at my finished card, I played by the "challenge" as I do have cream on my card. Whew! I used brown ribbon to which I laid lace over top of it and then made my triple loop bow using the Craft-Dee BowZ maker. I love how the lace stayed right on top of it during the entire process.

To make my card even more vintage looking, I sponged distress ink on all the pattern paper layers. The middle is chipboard covered in paper and then distressed. I stamped "Mr. & Mrs." in two different shades of brown ink on the oval covered chipboard. To finish off my card, I attached some "wedding" rings to the side of the covered chipboard.

Hope you enjoyed my card!

Top O' the Morning

Hi Everyone,
It's Barbara and I am back to show you a beautiful two toned bow that I made using two different colored ribbons. I know, we are just beginning the month of February and Valentine's cards are probably still on your mind, but, I had this beautiful gold and a green sheer ribbon in my stash and I wanted to make a St. Patrick's themed card.  Sheer ribbons are my favorite type of ribbon to use with the Craft-Dee BowZ  tool.

This tool

gives you the ability
to make a
bow like this

And here is the bow on my card.

Since I have no St. Patty's stamps, (imagine that!!) I just used green card stocks and a great little shamrock  punch. I stamped a beautiful butterfly, glittered it up and I perched it on a rosette. Scored the background paper and traced the score marks with a glue pen and covered with green glitter.

OK,  get your valentine cards done, then it will be on to St. Patty's Day cards. Get your Craft-Dee BowZ tool out to make your spectacular bows. Don't have one!!?!! Well to order yours today, click the Buy Now button located on the side bar.

Oh I almost forgot! You will want to stop back Thursday February 7, for the first Craft-Dee BowZ Blog Hop. We will be awarding a prize of a Craft-Dee BowZ tool and a spool of gorgeous ribbon. Since the design team is made up of  4 designers, it won't take you very long to get thru the hop. Commenting will put you in the running to be a prize winner.

I hope to see you back here Thursday for the Blog Hop. Have a great day

It's Valentine Time

Hi Everyone
Happy New Year Everyone!!! My name is Barbara and I am one of the new Design Team members here at Craft-Dee BowZ. I am so excited to be here, spotlighting bows, using this easy to use bow maker. If you are a challenged bow maker, this tool is definitely a must have for you. This tool is easy to use and super portable so you can take it to crops, club meetings..... just anywhere. You will become the bow queen when you use the bow maker.

Well for my post today I wanted to add a bow to something other than a card. Since Valentines Day will be the next gift giving event, I decided to get a box ready for a gift. The bow I used is a multi-loop bow (my favorite type of bow).

I just love working with a wired ribbon, it makes your bows look professional!!! I get tons of compliments from all my friends about my bows. They are truly amazed and I keep telling them how easy these are to make using the tool. The gift box I chose to use is a pillow box and I added a punched belly band. Over the belly band I added ribbon down the center and placed my bow in the middle.

Purchase a bow maker and you will be amazed at the look of your bows. I am sure you will be a great bow maker.Click here to make a purchase.

Thanks for stopping in today, see you soon!!
