Christmas Shopping!

Talking about Christmas shopping...I haven't done much this winter since 2019 was a crazy year with moving across country and trying to get the house in order. We moved from Phoenix to rural Kentucky where we now have over 3 acres of land. Both Tim and I got our own 'workshops' with mine being an art studio while his is a true workshop full of machines and tools. My studio is now set up and after working all day at my new job, I enjoy an hour or two each evening crafting.

It's good to be back and with my favorite team, Craft-Dee BowZ.  This week is the fourth Tuesday of the month (and Christmas Eve!), and it's my week to post a card.  I love winter cards and I used a Sherri Baldy image and lots of die cuts an embossing folder, pearls, a jewel in the center of my bow and some beautiful papers.

Here's a close-up of my image and I colored her with Copics. I had stored my Copics for almost 2 years and so far I've run into only one that needed to be filled. I'm pretty surprised and delighted that they survived being in storage in a garage in Phoenix for 9 months and then the garage in Kentucky for 13 months.

And here's my satin double looped bow made with my bow tool. My bow tool is a small, handy tool that guarantees me a great bow every time! If you don't have one and like to use bows on your projects, you need this tool!  And if you have one and use it, you can attest that it is a great tool for your craft space!

Here's what the Craft-Dee BowZ tool looks like. It's small, compact and ready to use!

I hope my card has inspired you and although there's only a week left in the month to join our challenge, our ANYTHING GOES challenge is open to everyone and you don't need a bow on your project anymore, although we adore our ribbons here on Craft-Dee BowZ!

Remember, our sponsor this month is LeAnn's World and the winner gets their choice of 3 images!

Thanks for stopping by!

The papers are from the dovecraft santas letters set i had left over from last years christmas stash ...I also glittered his fur collar etc ...
Well that is s the last project for 2019 from me . I hope to see you join us in 2020 for all the new challenges

Bringing Home the Christmas Tree

Hello and Kathy here, it's my Tuesday to post for some inspiration.

For my hosting project, I created this Die Cut design card using dies from Spellbinders.  The theme for this card is Bringing Home the Christmas Tree.  Seems like everywhere you look someone is decorating with that old red truck.  Well I decided to create a purple truck because it matched my paper.  When I used the silver CS I did not know that it would not photograph very well.  I hope you can see the card without the glare.

Here is a close up of the bow, that I made using the Craft-Dee BowZ bow tool.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge.  Our sponsor for the this month is LeAnn's World.

She has some adorable images so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy.  Up next is Tracey.

Until next time,
Kathy

Thanks

Hello Everyone Barbara here,
Today is December's first Tuesday
and time for my Craft-Dee BowZ inspiration post

I like to give/send thank you cards to those who have given me a gift.

For this card I decided that I wanted it
to have an underlying theme
 of the Christmas season.

I added some satin ribbon along the right side of the card,
made my bow using my CDB bow maker,
and attached it to the satin ribbon.

Here is a closer view of my fluffy bow.
It's a triple loop made using very sheer ribbon (my fav)

The great thing about the Craft-Dee BowZ tool is,
it's easy to use, it's small and portable and easy to store.
Makes great bows, whether they are little or larger, say for a gift.

Order yours over on the Craft-Dee BowZ blog
Just click on the Buy Now button on the left sidebar.

Please visit my blog for additional information
and more pics about this card.

Don't forget, the December challenge is going on all month

The theme is always
Anything Goes (no bow required)
We'd love to see your project and
you could be the next winner.

Hope you will stop back next Tuesday
Kathy will be posting her Tuesday inspiration project

Hope you can join  us.

Peace On Earth

Hello Crafters
Hope you are having a crafty week so far.
Barbara here with the first Tuesday Inspiration project for November

Everyone is getting in the holiday mode and my card is no exception.

My card is more of a wintry scene than an actual Christmas card.

Let me share it with you.

Doesn't that really remind you of snow, winter etc.???
Snow, I know, but it's probably on its way sooner vs later.

Let me share a closer view of the bow.

You know the Craft-Dee BowZ tool is the best tool to use to make a bow.
The tool is small, makes little bows or larger ones,
Its portable and is easy to  store - takes up very little room.

Need one???  Click on the Buy Now button here on the left sidebar.

I have additional information about my card
over on my blog, click here to check it out

BTW, don't forget,
the Craft-Dee BowZ challenge is in full swing
It is open all month
and the theme is ANYTHING GOES. (no bow required)

Hope you submit, you might be the November winner.

That's it for now
Hope you liked my inspiration card

Next Tuesday, Kathy will be on board with her inspiration project
Stop in to see what she has created with you in mind.

Winter Wonderland

Hello everyone

Barbara here
Welcome back for another Tuesday inspiration.
This is the last Tuesday of this month
and I thought I'd pop in and show you my card real quick.

This month's sponsor has been Cute As A Button
and I thought I'd finish out the month
using another darling digi from her shop

I used the digi Sleigh Ride,
and just thought she was adorable.
Hope you like her.

I had some snowflake DP in my stash
and thought it would look nice with the theme.

I added some glittery snowflakes around her and added my fluffy bow.
That ribbon I used has a design embedded on it that looks like snowflakes,
perfect for this card.

Click here and come over to my blog for additional info about my card.

Need a tool to assist you in your bow making??

Click on the Buy Now button on the left sidebar
You will be glad you did.
Easy to use and  it comes with written instructions.
There are You Tube videos
as well to guide you on how to make your bow.

The November challenge starts Friday so stop back and check it out.

Well that's it for now.

Thanks for stopping in

Snow Buddies

Hi all
It is Tracey here with my mid month inspiration project for The October challenge here at Craftdeebowz where the theme is "Anything goes with a handmade bow.."
I thought i had better get a start on the Christmas cards early this year to save myself the last minute rush ..I have used the woodware Snowman Buddies stamp which i coloured with watercolour spectrum noir pens.I added puffy stuff to their hats that swells up when you heat it with a heat gun.

The background papers i created myself with an Artisan Design group Snowflake Stencil and distress inks .

The sentiment is a stamp  from Stampin up. The bow was created with my Craftdeebowz bow maker which creates easy perfect bows every time with no fuss

I hope you like my project and that you join us in the October challenge
Happy crafting

Eek

Hello and Kathy here to post for some inspiration.

I created this Distressed Background card with dies from Spellbinders.  The theme for this card is for Halloween. I always have a house full for Halloween.  My nieces bring their children an some of my grandchildren come over for Trick or Treat.  I always end up making about 6lbs of chili and there is never even one bowl left.

I created the background by using distress inks to blend together to make it appear like night time.  Then I used the September Small Die of the Month to create this cute little skeleton and ghost trick-or-treaters.  Here is a photo of the 6x6 card I created.

And here is a close up of the bow, that I made using the Craft-Dee BowZ bow tool.  I just love this polka-dot ribbon.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge. Our sponsor for the this month is Cute as A Button.

She has some adorable images so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy.  Up next is Tracey.

Until next time,
Kathy
