Birthday cards?

Does anyone ever run low on birthday cards?  I've run low on birthday cards AND Christmas cards so for the rest of this year I'm going to focus on those. This month's card for my Tuesday post at Craft-Dee BowZ is a birthday card and I used a stamp from Wild Rose. Aren't these teddy bears from them too cute?!

Coloring animals is a tough one for me and I think this bear came out 'okay' but I need more practice. I do love the colors of these papers so I kept my image in the same color family. And this little butterfly is a punch from Martha Stewart, as is the border punch on the side.
And my soft yellow seam binding bow is below. This bow was simple to make with my bow tool and I sound like a broken record but...if you don't have a bow tool, you should consider one if you make bows for your cards or projects. This bow tool is simple to use, I store mine on a push pin on the wall next to my work table, and it can make so many different sizes of bows that you will use it for every bow! I made a double looped bow and then added a pretty soft yellow button in the middle.
Since my card is for the last Tuesday of the month you've got one more day to add your card to the Craft-Dee BowZ challenge this month!  Our challenge is ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A HANDMADE BOW.  Have you seen my teammates' cards/projects on the previous Tuesdays?  Take a look here and please leave a comment if you have a moment.

All My Love..

Hi
It is Tracey here with my mid month inspiration project for you. When I received my Mpp pack from the Boss the ribbon featured on this card was so beautiful and vibrant that I planned the whole colour scheme around it. The cute image is a stamp from Lilli Of The Valley which I coloured with Promarkers . The flowers are as always from Wild Orchid I just love the variety and quality they stock.

The papers are from my stash and I have had them for so long I cannot remember where they came from so it is great to Finally use them up.

It is quite a simple layout for this card as I really wanted to let the ribbon be a main focus as it is so pretty ,I hope you like it .Of course my Bowmaker helped me make the beautiful bow check out in the sidebar how you can get one for yourselves.

well that's it from me folks and I hope to see you join us in the challenge
Happy crafting

Valentine Gift Bags

Hey there, Kathy here and it's my Tuesday to post for Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge.  Well tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I made these bags for my best friends.  We have been friends since grade school which by the way was a very long time ago.

You see I love Valentine's Day and I am always looking to make small little items to pass out for this special little day. Inspired by Nichol Spohr I created these darling little bags.

The stamp set I used is from Mama Elephant and is called Page Huggers.  They call them Page Huggers because the dies cut a slit under their arms so they can hold onto things like the edge of the bag with a little valentine in hand.

I colored each little critter with my copic markers, then used my Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make a little bow to adorn each bag  You can get your own Craft-Dee BowZ tool here.  I added some paper confetti, some Dove Chocolate's and fastened them with a tiny closthespin.

Here is a couple of the bags close up that shows what a cute little bows the tool makes  You can make them smaller than these to a really nice size.

I hope you will join us this month for our challenge.  We look forward in seeing what you have to share with us.  Up next Tuesday is the awesome Tracy so make sure to stop back to see what she has in store.to share.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello

Welcome to  Tuesday's Inspiration here at  Craft-Dee BowZ

Barbara here and I have a cute card to share with you today.

I loved making this card and those stacked cups.

You know I would love to have a planter that looks like a set of stacked cups. Wouldn't that be cool!!!

The cup is a Bugaboo image and its called Teacup Flowers 2. They have 2 other teacup images with flowers as well so you may want to check those out too.

My bow - well as you may or may not know, I always use my Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make all my bows. I just happened to find this sheer ribbon that was a great match for the DP paper I was using. It's kind of a butterscotch color. For me, that sheer ribbon is my go-to ribbon because it's so easy to work with and makes super fluffy bows. This bow happens to be a triple loop bow.

This tool is small, portable, easy to store, easy to transport, easy to use. Are you more of a visual learner?? Me too. There are videos on YouTube that will walk you through the steps to make bows.
You can order one on the Craft-Dee BowZ blog here.
(Look on the left sidebar to place your order)

Here is a close-up of the bow.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my project.
Hope you will link a project to the Craft-Dee BowZ monthly challenge
Don’t forget, the theme every month is always Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow.

Thanks for stopping by and come back next Tuesday for a new Tuesday Inspiration project
Til then, have a crafty week
