Happy Birthday

Barbara here,
with the first inspiration project for June, here at Craft-Dee BowZ

Hope you all are doing OK and staying safe and healthy.

Since Bugaboo is the sponsor this month for the June Craft-Dee BowZ challenge I thought I'd use another of their cool images.

Here is my card.

Click here  to go to my blog for more info about my card

My bow - I used Hug Snug - seam binding (my fav) and of course, the Craft-Dee BowZ  bow making tool.
The bow is a quad loop bow for this card. Yep a quad loop bow. Using the seam binding and the CDB bowmaker making a quad loop is really easy, and makes for a fuller bow.

Do you have your CDB tool yet?? No???
This tool is smaller, easy to use, travels well and it's easy to store.
It will make bows from 1" to 4 1/2"
You can order yours by clicking on the Buy Now button here on the left sidebar.

Just a reminder -
The June Craft-Dee BowZ challenge has started and runs thru June 27
The theme is Anything Goes (no bow required)
You could be the next winner,
We are looking forward to your submission.

Thanks it for now
Stop back next Tuesday to see what Kathy has come up with
for her Inspiration Tuesday project

Cause, here's my Tuesday inspiration
and it's got flowers on it,
 of course

The image I used is from Power Poppy
and its a Lady Slipper Orchard

is really two single loop bows stacked on top of each other.
Here is a close up picture

These types of bows are easy to make and really look super.

and for those of you that like visuals,
there are plenty of videos to walk you thru the how-to's.

With Thanks

Hello Everyone
Barbara here and welcome to the 1st Tuesday of the month.

My last inspiration post revolved around printing on printable acetate.
well I wanted to see how that acetate would work if I stamped it instead of printing on it,

Well let me tell ya, I am so pleased

My card is a 5X7 and I used a stamp from Art Gone Wild by Catherine Scanlon - Daisies.
I love this image
For more info on my card,
please visit my blog - Art and Soul Creations

I added a bow to finish off my card.
And the bow was made using the
Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool.

It's Birthday Time

Welcome Back, Everyone!!

It's time for the last Tuesday inspiration post for January. And where has this month flown to???

Hope you have submitted your project to our challenge this month. The theme is always the same - Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow.

It's been cold here in my area and I am looking forward to the warmer temps of spring.

In the meantime, I decided to make a birthday card and share that with you today.

Pop on over to my blog for a little more info about my card.

Just a little bit about my bow - it's a double stacked single loop bow.
How I did it was to make a single loop bow. Next, I made another single loop bow but a little smaller than the first one. I stacked the smaller one on top of the longer bow and tied them together.
Easy Peasy!!!

If you are bow challenged, Craft-Dee BowZ has the perfect tool for you. The tool comes with instructions and there are easy to follow videos on YouTube.
To order just click on the Buy Now button under the picture of the tool on the left sidebar.

Friday will be February 1 and it will be the start of the next challenge.
Hope you will stop by for more fun and inspiration.

Thanks for stopping in today. Hope to see you back here Friday

and the stockings were hung

Hello Everyone!!!

How is your month going so far?? Are you ready for Christmas??? Hope you have all your cards finished, addressed and in the mail.

No?? .... if not I have returned with my Tuesday inspiration for you and hopefully, this might give you a new idea for just that right card.

The sponsor this month, here at Craft-Dee BowZ is Bugaboo. Now, I have had this stocking image for a while and thought I'd use it for my Tuesday post. This image makes a perfect card for the holiday season. Hope you like it, too.

I love the way this turned out. I used 3 different foil colors on this super image.

Visit my blog for additional information on how I made this card.

My bow turned out so nice, I used a stacked bow to get that really fluffy look. I also used a sheer ribbon and (IMHO) I think sheer ribbon makes the best fluffy multi-loop bows.

The Craft-Dee BowZ tool is the perfect tool for all your bow making needs.  Need one of these great tools?? Order one today, just go to the left sidebar and order one. Donna will send it right out.

This is my last Tuesday inspiration project for 2018. Please stop back next Tuesday and the other Tuesdays this month for more inspiration from the other designers.

I will be back January 1 to start off the new year,

Thanks much, and try to stop in next Tuesday for another cool project.

All the Wonder

Hello and how's your day going???

Mine.... well not too good. I am so late with this post. I am so sorry. My days have gotten away from me. LOL

I made a super Christmas card and a few of my friends will be receiving this little, easy to make, card.

Flip the bird flap back and the card can be opened.

Here is the card opened
And here is a closer view of that bow on the card front.

This card looks so nice with a smaller bow.
I made a double loop and it's just the right size and fullness.
Not too overwhelming.

I think this design is perfect for an A-2 size card.
A little card with a bigger punch.

The Craft-Dee BowZ tool gives you the ability to make your bow smaller or larger.
You have great flexibility.

Need one?? order one today, just
go to the left sidebar and order yours.
Treat yourself to an early Christmas gift

Hope you enjoyed this card.

Stop in Next Tuesday to see what Kathy has in store for you.

With Love

I made a card with my new folder and I just love the look it gave me. So, I just decided to use the card I made for my inspiration piece. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Here is a close-up of the bow
It's a double loop bow.
And the CDB tool makes crafting this bow so easy.

Thinking of You

Hey, how are you doing today!!

Barbara here for the Tuesday inspiration over at Craft-Dee BowZ. I used to work with an old technique, Iris Folding, and I thought I'd make a card showing off this really great technique.

Years ago this was so popular. However, I have not seen this lately, so, I thought I'd make a card and put some Iris Folding on it.

There used to be books that were available, however, the only place I am seeing some of those books is on Amazon.

Also if you go to Pinterest, you will see quite a few patterns that may be of interest to you.

Let me share my card with you.

Iris folding is a great way to use scraps of designer paper, using scrapbook weight. Cardstock weight is too thick, because of the folding of strips of paper. I took the liberty of adding some dark green strips between the DP. This, to me, just adds additional interest and definition to the image.

That bow is made using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool.
I made a triple loop bow.
If you are bow challenged then this is the tool for you.
Its small, lightweight, takes up little space and is easy to use.

Let me show a closer view of my bow

I used a sheer ribbon, my fav.
It's a triple loop bow and sits in the front bottom corner, the perfect spot

If you would like to order this tool, click on the order spot on the left sidebar.

Well, hope you like Iris Folding.
Maybe you can do an Iris Folding project and submit it in the CDB Challenge for June.

The theme is Anything Goes so this or anything you submit will work.
Just remember your submission must contain a handmade bow.
Our sponsor is Bugaboo
The prize is 4 digital images.
You could be the June winner

The challenge is a monthly challenge so you have some time to get your project made and submitted.

I am looking forward to seeing your submission.

Stop back next Tuesday to see what Kathy's inspiration project will be.

Today is Tuesday and that means it's inspiration time here at Craft-Dee BowZ. Each Tuesday the designers are sharing some more inspiration with you. It's my turn since it's the first Tuesday.

Since it's been rainy (and snowy) and we're are into spring, I thought I'd use this cute rain boot with flowers image from the Bugaboo digital line. This image is called Spring Boot, very appropriate don't you think!!

Here is a closer view of this bow.
My vision in my head of this bow was not how it turned out but, I like the look it is giving me.

Jump on over to my blog for additional as to how this bow became this way.

Don't forget, the Craft-Dee BowZ tool makes handcrafted bows so easy for you.

Happy Day

Hello Everyone
Barbara here today and since it is the first Tuesday of the month, it's my time to post an inspiration piece just for you.

Today's card utilized die cuts, scoring, holographic paper and embossing folder items.
And of course the bow maker.

I just thought I would just use some of the tools I have in my stash of "stuff " to make this card.

This card sat around for a while because it was not quite finished. But when I got that wheat bunch, that was the perfect addition to finish the card.

And yes, I used my bow making tool to make that super fluffy bow.

If you need a bow maker, be sure to click on the link on the left sidebar and order your very own.

Also, don't forget CDB has a challenge going on all month
so get your creativity in gear and submit a project
The theme is: Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow.

A Rose For You

Hi Everyone
Barbara here and even though it's the last Tuesday of the month and I am popping in with another inspiration card to delight your crafting senses.  LOL

Just a reminder,  Friday is September 1, and that means that CDB will be starting the next monthly challenge. Please stop by then to check out the winners of the current challenge and to see the inspiration projects made by our talented designers for you for September.

OK let me share my card for August.

I started with a 6"X 6" card base. Next I added a pink holographic piece cut to 5 3/4" X 5 3/4" and layered that on top of the card base.

Next I cut a pink piece 5 1/2" X 5 1/2". I punched the area on the left using a Martha Stewart  Punch all over the Page. Next, I added another border on the right, using a white CS strip and using that same punch. I attached my bow thru some of the lattice openings on the left side.

I have been playing around with my Mini Minc Machine and I had this cool Rose w/ leaves outline. Well I couldn't get it to foil. But I have a pen that has liquid toner in it so I covered the rose and the leaves using that, added the pink foil to the rose and the green foil to the leaves and ran it thru the Minc and it worked great.

Next I added pink CS to the back of the rose and some green CS to the back of the leaves and popped it up on the front of the card.

Last but not least I made some handmade flowers for the bottom right corner area and used 2 leaf punches to add the greenery to my handmade flowers.

Thanks for stopping in today. You still have a day or so to enter the August Challenge, you could be the winner!!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my project. Hope you will link a project in our monthly challenge. Don’t forget our theme every month is always Anything Goes with a Handmade bow.  Also on each Tuesday of the month a different designer will post here on the Craft-Dee BowZ blog to inspire you!

Thanks so much for stopping by today I hope you will be back Friday to see what's up for September.

Turn over a New Leaf

Hi Everyone
It's Barbara here and since it's Tuesday I thought I'd pop in to share with you a shaped card, today. Something a little different. And I think this is a real eye catcher.

I keep seeing these shaped cards on Pinterest and they have been cut from a die set. Unfortunately, most of those die sets are no longer available. That's me, a day late and a dollar short. LOL

Well, I decided to cut my own design so this is what I came up with.

As I was making this card and adding the layers I thought a smaller bow was in order for this card.

And you probably already know - the Craft_Dee BowZ really gives you the ability to make bows from 1" to about 4 1/2". For a card that is a great range.

My bow is a triple loop bow.

Please don't forget that the June Craft-Dee BowZ challenge has started and will be going on thru the month. So you have plenty of time to get a project made and submitted
Click here to go to the challenge page,

The prize for the winner of the June challenge will be
3 single digital images from our sponsor this month - Cute As A Button

Stop back next Tuesday to check out what project Marty has designed

Have a wonderful week.

Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone
Just an edit - due to my ineptness, this post do not go live Tuesday as it should have so this is a few days late. So sorry
It's Barbara here and boy the first Tuesday of the month (now the first Thursday) came super fast this month.
Time for my post here at Craft-Dee BowZ.

The color orange is not one that I consider a favorite of mine however as I started making this card the card base looked best with the orange color I used.So............here it is

I made a double loop bow and it worked great with this card

I used my Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make my bow.
Not sure how to make a bow, not sure the tool is something you should buy,
click here to check out the tutorials that Donna has made.
These videos will walk you thru the how-to's.
 And it is so easy.

Visit my blog for additional info about my card.

Also just a reminder - the Craft-Dee BowZ monthly challenge is in progress and we are hoping that you submit an entry. The theme is always Anything Goes with a handmade Bow.
