Christmas is almost here!

Well, this is my last post before Christmas which is only 3 days away. I love the holidays and the pretty decorations that you see everywhere. I now live in a small rural town in Kentucky and it's as if we live in a Hallmark movie. Our little Main Street is decorated beautifully and every business has a wreath on the door. This is my week to post on Craft-Dee BowZ and I chose this very festive image by Whimsy named Santa's Helper.

I colored my image with Copics and had some wonderful Christmas papers. My white snowflakes are actually buttons with the backs cut off.

I made my beautiful bow, below, using my bow tool. My bow tool makes the perfect bow with any ribbon or lace. Here's a double looped satin bow.

My bow tool is small, easy to do and is always within reach of my work table!

Our sponsor this month is The Paper Shelter and our winner will get to pick three digital images of your own choice!

I hope you'll take a moment to upload your projects to Craft-Dee BowZ and you have only one more week to enter before the end of our challenge and 2021 arrives!

Merry Christmas to you!!

                                                                             Hugs to all,

Monochrome Christmas card

Hi

It is Tracey here with my mid month inspiration project .I have made this card using papers and a sentiment from a Christmas paper pad I bought in a local craft shop I distressed the edges to add a little interest  . I added a cute mdf snowflake , a button , some die cut fern leaves and baubles and leaves that I had stamped in grey ink and fussy cut out .

I added a cute double Looped bow using thin sparkly ribbon that has been made in my craftdeebowz bow maker . And some tiny clear resin  chips and glitter to add sparkle

This is my final project sadly for craftdeebowz . I have absolutely
Loved being part of this amazingly talented team and I want to thank you all  for inspiring me every month with your projects . Thanks Donna and Barbara it has been an honour and a pleasure .
Have a wonderful Christmas and new year all  stay safe and well , Let’s hope 2021 is the best year yet

It's Tensel Time

It's my turn to host for some inspiration here at Craft-Dee-BowZ.

For my project, I created this very simple but cute card using a stamp set that I had bought last year from Avery Elle. I wanted a black and white card with a touch of red, so I stamped two of my favorite trees and then stamped the snowy hillside all in black ink. And then the sentiment in red. Last but not least I added some of the falling snow from the stamp set and my stamping was finished.

Then I created a bow using my Craft-Dee-BowZ tool and adhered it to the card and my simple but yet cute card was finished.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge.  Our sponsor for the this month is The Paper Shelter.

She has some adorable images so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy.  Up next is Tracey so be sure to come back because Tracy's work is always awesome.

Until next time,
Kathy

Getting Ready For Christmas

 Hello Everyone

Barbara here.

Since the holiday season is upon us,
I decided to make a few tags with added bows
to give you all some ideas for the gift giving season.

Both my tags are 4"X5" and would look great as an accompaniment
to a gift bag or a boxed gift of some sort.

Tag #1

The bow I added is a triple loop stacked bow.

Tag #2

The bow on this tag is a fluffy triple loop bow using a green sheer ribbon.

Here is a closer view of the bow

Here is a closer view of the bow.

Both my bows were made using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool

Give thanks

Welcome to my week to post on Craft-Dee BowZ and share a card with you.  When I think of autumn, I think of mums, sunflowers, pumpkins and sweaters. I saw this adorable little image by Elisabeth Bell and thought she'd be perfect for my card this week.

I colored my image with Copics and used some pretty leaves, sunflowers and pearls for my embellishments. I added a bit of sparkle to the flowers in her hair, too, and had this awesome paper with sunflowers on it that worked out perfectly!

My bow is a triple looped and I used grossgrain ribbon and then glued a button tied with twine in the middle of the knot. This bow was so simple to make, even with all those loops, using my bow tool. It's the perfect little assistant that I keep within arm's reach at my craft table!

Our sponsor this month is month is Bugaboo stamps who is giving the winner of our challenge four images of the winner's choice!

Welcome Fall

Hello there, Kathy here and it is my turn to host for the month of November.

For my hosting project, I created this cute card using the front door dies from Spellbinder Dies.  I cut out all of the pieces for the front door.  Then I used some Tim Holtz Grit paste and a brick stencil to create the front of the house.  After I created this piece I then started building the front door.  Then I created a Fall Wreath, placed the card front onto an A2 size card base and my Welcome Fall card was almost finished.

To complete my card I made a tiny bow using my Craft-Dee-BowZ tool and adhered it to the wreath.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge.  Our sponsor for the this month is Bugaboo Stamps.

She has some adorable images so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy.  Up next is Tracey.

To swim as free as a mermaid

Are there days you'd just like to be a mermaid? I love the ocean and I'm a fan of mermaid stamps. If I could wish to come back as something after I die, I think I'd pick a mermaid. This image is from Sherri Baldy and I fell in love with her the minute I saw her.

It's the fourth Tuesday of the month, so it's my turn to post here for Craft-Dee BowZ.  Each week a different team member gets to post a card or project of their choice. So here I am with my card.

I colored my image with Copics and used clear glitter on the seashells across the bottom and then colored the glitter with my markers. They still have the glittery look without the mess of using numerous colors of glitter.

I love my bow tool. I don't think I make many cards anymore that don't have ribbon or lace on them and my little bow tool helps me make the perfect bows. You can see my bow below and how pretty it turned out. It's a great embellishment on this card and I do love embellishments!  I can honestly say that a CAS card is a tremendous challenge for me and I'm more comfortable adding stuff to a card than keeping it clean and simple.

Here's what my little bow tool looks like...pretty simple to use and it hangs on a nail right next to me!

Our sponsor this month is Gerda Steiner Designs and the winner of this challenge gets to pick two images from this fantastic on-line store.
You've got two more days to enter our ANYTHING GOES challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ!

Warm Wishes

Hi

It is tracey here with my mid month inspiration post . Christmas is a time for batch making quick easy cards for  charity or even to send out to friends and family we might not get to meet this year  . i have made this quick abnd easy card using a sweet  mittens stamp from Chloe . I stamped and heat embossed the mittens with gold wow powder and also did the same technique with the snowflake stamps i had free from a magazine and a sentiment from my stash .

i used some packaging for behind the mittens. i added little twine bows made using my craft-deebowz bowmaking tool. i rounded card edges and added some gems and that was it really ... very simple to create and would look great in any colour combination

I hope you like my project and that you have a go creating it yourself ..

Happy crafting

Boo

Hello there, Kathy here and it is my turn to host for the month of October.

For my hosting project, I created a haunted house box, using a few Spellbinder Dies.  I cut 2 pieces of the house, then I did some ink blending using Distress Oxide inks around the edges.  After the edges were inked I used a brick stencil to create bricks.  Then I cut the windows and the door, after cutting those I cut out a tree, cat, fence and some bats.

I made the bow using my Craft-Dee-BowZ tool and adhered it to the roof.

I plan on creating several of these cute little boxes so I can fill them with candy for the special Trick-or-Treaters that always come by my house.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge.  Our sponsor for the this month is Gerda Steiner Designs.

She has some adorable images so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy.  Up next is Tracey.

Until next time,
Kathy

Fall and Pumpkins

Barbara here and......

Welcome to the first Inspiration Tuesday post in October. Do you believe it, Fall is really here!!!
Every Tuesday the designers take turns posting an inspiration project for your viewing pleasure.

Today I decided to share a card that I made depicting pumpkins and fall and of course my card has a bow but this time I used Bakers Twine in an orange shade in keeping with the fall theme I had in mind.

Let me share my card with you

Pumpkins always remind me of fall so
I used an image from Bugaboo that fit the bill

Here is a closer view of my bow.

This is a multiple loop bow and
I used my Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make this bakers twine bow.
Works great with the twine,too.

The CDB tool really aides me in making all my bows.
And you don't need to use ribbon.
My bakers twine bow is a perfect example

Do you have your CDB tool yet?? No???
This tool is smaller, easy to use, travels well and it's easy to store.
It will make bows from 1" to 4 1/2"
You can order yours by clicking on the
Buy Now button here on the left sidebar.

Just a reminder -
The October Craft-Dee BowZ challenge has started and runs thru October 30.
