Guest Designer - Monica Edwards Easter Love

Hi everyone Simply Monica here sharing my 1st official project for Craft-Dee BowZ as their March Guest Designer.  I would like to say thanks so much to Donna And Barbara for having me they are and absolutely wonder team of ladies to work with!

Now onto to my project: I designed this card perfect for Easter

I used a gorgeous multi-bow using the fantastic Craft-Dee Bowz tool.  I love love making bows, but I will be honest and say I tend to shy away from them because I can never seem to make it look right it always seems whopside (if that is a word) like bunniy ears.. lol but this tool made bow making and absolute breeze...
Finished it off with this lovely flower arrangement and look a my perfect bow lol yes I am super excited about my bow and this tool is a must!
I hope everyone enjoyed my 1st post as a GDT for Craft-Dee Bowz!!
Thanks for stopping by...

Spring Flings and Easter Things with Dana Tatar

Hi Craft-Dee BowZ fans! Dana Tatar here today sharing an Easter themed card. I chose a beautiful cardstock sticker for the focal point of my card. I embellished the sticker with a flower and added some pearl accents with a pearl pen. I die-cut a scallop edge mat for the sticker and the topped that with a beautiful double-loop bow that I tied with my Craft-Dee BowZ Tool.

I topped my bow with a bunny charm. The green die-cut that I placed under the sticker was lined in black. I mimicked that design element on the yellow cardstock to tie the design together.

There is still time to enter the March challenge! Click here for all the details.

Thanks for stopping in today and have a great week!

Guest Designer Heidi Blankenship - Easter Blessings Card

Hello everyone!  Heidi, here today and I am so excited and honored to be the Guest Designer for
Craft-Dee BowZ for the month of March!
I was thrilled when I received the email from Donna!  I am having a lot of fun creating beautiful bows with the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  I love that the dowels are metal and everything is self-contained.  I also love being able to create a wonderful variety of different size bows.

Here is a look at the card I designed.  I stamped the image from JustRite Papercraft on to simply smooth white cardstock using Rich Cocoa ink and then I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers.  To create the die cuts I used Elegant Ovals from Spellbinders.  The metallic background was embossed using one of the M-bossabilities folders from Spellbinders.  The base of the card is a light yellow layered with a celery green mat.  I adhered the two top layers together and then I added some celery and cream silk ribbon.  Next I layered the die cuts using 3D Foam Squares and applied them to the card.  I used the Craft-Dee BowZ tool to create the beautiful little bow.  I love bows with lots of loops so I followed the Multiple Loops-Figure Eight Method for creating the bow.

Here is a close up of the bow.  The Craft-Dee BowZ tool is so easy to use and I love using it with silk ribbon.  Sometimes when I am trying to make a bow with just my hands the silk ribbon is so silky smooth and it slips right through my fingers but when I'm using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool I don't have to worry about that at all!  Love it!

To finish off the card I added a little sparkle using the
Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen and a few pearls.

Thank you so much for joining me today! Also a Huge Thank You to Donna and Barbara for asking me to be a Guest Designer!!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi

A Vintage Style Easter

Hello everyone~  Today I'm sharing a project made for Craft Dee BowZ.  This is the company that makes the compact little bow tying tool I use nearly every day!  I found a delightful, vintage image on line and designed this card around it...

RebeccaDeeprose VintageEgg-1

Layers of distressed papers, stitching, ribbon, a flower, antique trim, stained cheescloth, pearls, a feather, a die cut wreath….all favorite things, went into this card...

RebeccaDeeprose Vintage Egg-2

A length of ribbon runs along the bottom edge and is topped with some antique trim.  The corner sports a multi-looped bow and a chiffon flower...

RebeccaDeeprose VintageEgg-3

This corner shows off some of the papery layers, a white feather tucked in between and a piece of spring fern peeking out from under the cheesecloth.  Some pearls add some shine and light...

RebeccaDeeprose VintageEgg-4

A delicate branching wreath, cut from patterned paper was also tucked into the layers...

RebeccaDeeprose VintageEgg-5

For this charming image, I used some treasured silk buttonhole twist to stitch a border.  It is thicker than sewing thread and has the most wonderful sheen.
Here is the image for your own enjoyment.  I have searched the internet and not found any copyright restrictions on it's use...

With spring just a few days away, it is my hope you are feeling some warmth from the sun and seeing the stirrings in the trees and creatures around us...
I will be entering this card into these challenges;
Sending you ((hugs)) and blessings,
Rebecca

Vintage Tag

Hi everyone.  It's so seldom I get to post on my own blog these days.  But we had a slight gap due to one of our designers having to step down.  This works out quite well since I have to get a link ready for My Creative Classroom for their upcoming blog about Tags.  You might want to check it out!

Anyway, I seem to be drifting toward vintage and shabby chic lately and this particular tag was made specifically for my rep show coming up the end of this month for a Make & Take and a show I'll be doing in Syracuse, NY the end of May.  The tag combines some of the supplies/tools that are nearest and dearest to my heart - dies and Graphic45 papers.  It doesn't get any better than that!

So here's my project:

Hope this inspires you to use your Craft-Dee BowZ tool for even small, simple projects like this.  I used a sheer organza ribbon for the bow and some 1/4" satin for the hanger.

Have a Bow-Ti-Ful day!

Easter Blessings

Hi everyone,
It's Barbara with my post for Craft-Dee BowZ for March. This month the theme for the design team is Easter.  I want to share with you the Easter card I made. The bow I added was made using my trusty Craft-Dee BowZ tool.

Let's take a closer look at my bow. I made a double loop bow, easy peasy with the Craft-Dee BowZ tool. This ribbon has wired edges and that's really my favorite type.  I love the mint green ombre color on this ribbon, hope you do too.

My Craft-Dee BowZ tool is my go to tool for all my bows. Easy to use and stores easy and always at my finger tips. The best thing is the fact the that it lets you make different sizes and types of bows.

The March challenge is in full swing. Click here to check it out and enter one of your projects.

Thanks for stopping in today. Have a great week.
